Job Description

Description of Responsibilities:

Responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure, participates in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the infrastructure and ensures that system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures adhere to Giorgio Armani Standards.

Systems Administrators will be involved in the planning and management of projects and directing support services technicians in the roll out of software updates, new applications and equipment.

Provide third level support to the Helpdesk.

Requires a fundamental understanding of IP networking, security principles and lan segmentation.

Overview of Critical Duties:

  • Administration of servers in a VMWare / Windows / LINUX environment.
  • SAN Administration and Provision, managing storage for all platforms.
  • Patch management: Ensure all systems are up to date for critical security and stability patches.
  • Backup administration of both disk based and cloud offsite.
  • Support and administration of Microsoft Active Directory
  • Strong knowledge and administration of Microsoft Admin Center
  • Strong knowledge and Administration of Intune admin center
  • Support and administration of Microsoft entra ID
  • Support and Administer Microsoft SCCM and CMG Server, process, and implementation.
  • Knowledge in windows PowerShell scription.
  • Provide 24X7 on call support for mission critical systems.
  • Project management of systems deployment, new roll outs, updates etc.
  • Vendor management: work with vendors in the provision of hardware standards, consulting services and support.
  • Generate and maintain full documentation of computing environments.
  • Mentor support services technician(s).

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • College degree preferred.
  • At least 2-5 years of experience in the field
  • Excellent communications skills both written and verbal.

The appointed candidate will be offered a salary within the range of USD $75,000 - $90,000 annually based on experience, plus the opportunity for a bonus, a comprehensive benefits package including: medical, dental, vision, short and long-term disability, various paid time off programs, employee discount/perks and retirement plans with employer contributions. This position is located at our Giorgio Armani Corporate Office in NYC and offers the opportunity for a hybrid on-site schedule.
